Greener logistics
Like everyone else, we wish to do better for the environment. Therefore, we do our best to optimise loads and routes in order to keep our transports as environmentally friendly as possible. We also offer guidance in green driving to all drivers to lower fuel consumption and reduce CO2 emissions. Furthermore, we focuse on using Euronorm 6 trucks, which at present is the highest truck standard on the market. An important stance for us as a company.

Transit times for road transport
We strive to carry out the majority of our shipments from door to door without undue transit. This is in order to reduce our costs, avoid damages or defects to the goods as well as to keep our transit times as short as possible.
Road taxes
A number of countries impose road taxes on road transport within their borders. These countries include Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, Slovenia, and Portugal. Through the Eurovignette system, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Sweden are also included. Consequently, additional costs are incurred when transporting goods to or through these countries.
From 1 January 2025, Denmark will withdraw from the Eurovignette system and instead introduce a kilometre-based and CO2-differentiated road tax for trucks weighing 12 metric tonnes or more.
This means that as of 1 January 2025, additional costs will also apply to road transport to, from, and through Denmark.
Additional road tax costs are calculated based on weight (per 100 kg chargeable weight).

Fuel Surcharge
Fuel surcharge is regulated each month in accordance to Fuelfinder. Fuel surcharge in Finland is also regulated each month, but in accordance to Finnlines Ltd. Current charges for January 2025 (including government-regulated increase):
International fuel surcharge adjustment = 63.4%
National fuel surcharge adjustment = 39.9 %
Finland = 93.6 %
