Our terms of business
Here you can read our terms and conditions.
All tasks are carried out in accordance with the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders’ General Conditions (NSAB 2000). The provisions limit our liability for loss, deterioration or damage of goods to SDR 8.33 per kg and for delay up to the freight amount, maximum SDR 50,000 for each order.
In case of storage, the freight forwarder’s total liability for damage in one and the same incident is limited to SDR 500,000 (§ 27). Special attention is drawn to the fact that claims against the freight forwarder become time-barred after 1 year (§ 30) and that the lien (§ 14) covers both current and previous claims.
Claims for freight etc. shall be honored regardless of the terms of delivery in the commercial agreement (§ 10).
Offer:
Rates do not apply to temperature controlled transports, dangerous goods, and transportation of highly taxed goods, unless specifically stated in the offer. If the offer is not accepted within 30 days from the date of dispatch, it will lapse. All rates and prices are exclusive of VAT.
Price adjustment:
Reservations are made for external costs beyond our control, including exchange rates, fuel prices, taxes and government intervention. Liso Logistics reserves the right to re-invoice these costs without prior notice.
Pallets:
Pallets are considered part of the packaging and therefore also part of the trade agreement. Liso Logistics is therefore irrelevant to any pallet dispute.
Product claims:
Cash on delivery may be offered at certain destinations, but will only be charged upon separate written instruction.
Pledge:
Liso Logistics shall have a lien on goods under the control of Liso Logistics, partly for all costs relating to the goods – including remuneration and warehouse rent, and partly for all Liso Logistics’ other claims on the consignor.
If the goods are lost or destroyed, Liso Logistics shall have a corresponding right to compensation from insurance companies or others. If Liso Logistics’ due claims are not paid when due, Liso Logistics shall be entitled to sell so much of the goods that the total claims including costs are covered.
Complaints:
In case of damage or shortage, please notify Liso Logistics, your insurance company, if any, and other parties involved immediately.
Other:
If the transport buyer stops its payments, enters into bankruptcy proceedings or initiates negotiations for a compulsory credit card or similar, Liso Logistics’ total receivables shall immediately fall due for payment.
Any deviation from Liso Logistics’ general terms and conditions must be agreed in writing.
